Welcome to my garden!... This past spring I started germinating seeds in the kitchen and attic so I could start a garden in the backyard. Because this is my first year gardening (and I'm unsure how I want to design my backyard garden), I choose to start a "container garden" for this year's season. Dried flowers...

My oldest daughter brought me these after going on a safari with her aunt and uncle. I'm not really sure what any of them are, but the tour guide told her if she brought them home to me and let them dry out we could germinate them to grow more. I'm not sure how many days I should let them dry out, but today is Day 2 and I'll probably be germinating them some time this week or next.
